I never thought giant electric fans exist. Not until I’d seen Bangui Windmills, a 20 wind turbines facing South China Sea at Ilocos Norte. It was really bad day weather when we arrived at Bangui. The locals there told us that it would be great to take pictures during day time. But I found it cool to see the windmills during the gray day. It was haunted-feeling to see those big electric fans, rolling as the wind blows.
The next day we went back to the windmills. The sun already came out. The waves of South China Sea is strong enough to keep the windmills going, enough to generate power supply. I tried standing below the windmill. It felt like the fan would strike or hit you. Well, at least I was too small to be hit by these giant fans.
